Very easy

An extra shelf is always useful for tidying up things. In this DIY project, Peter shows how he has created extra storage in his storage space. By ordering a custom pine carpentry panel this was a simple job.

Description by Peter

I have a storage space. There was still an unused part of a wall available. There I hung a beautiful shelf from a pine carpentry panel.

How I made this project

I looked at how much space was available. Then measure the size of the desired plank. I also looked at the material that would best match the rest. I've been thinking about finishing the shelf. Rounding on three sides, so that it is nice and not sharp. I have thought about which supports I can use to hang the shelf and which plugs, screws and drill do I need. The board is not heavily loaded, so the requirements were not very high. When hanging, I wondered whether to first attach the supports to the shelf and then to the wall or first attach the supports and then screw the shelf together. The latter was chosen due to limited space.
