In this DIY project, Sananne shows how she used the online sawing service to create a walk-in closet for under the stairs. She has managed to use sawn MDF lacquer carrier film panels to create a handy storage space for clothes in this small space. Read more about her approach and experience below.

Description of Sanne

I made a walk-in closet in the space under the stairs. The ceiling and walls were bare and were covered with MDF panels, then hung rods and shelves.

How I made this project

First I figured out how the cupboard should be divided be, there wasn't that much space now. I then covered the walls and provided power from the room behind. Everything was a bit crooked so I finished all the edges with slats. Then drilled some beams to the ceiling so that the ceiling plate could be drilled against. The shelf rails were attached and the rod holes were made. I was able to make the exact shelves from all the scrap wood and I screwed them in place. The rods are heating pipes 22mm.
